Prof. Siji Olamiju, popularly known as Akol and a prominent leader in the All Progressives Congress in Osun State, has joined the good people of Osun to celebrate a Leader, Son of the source,His Excellency Otunba Christopher Iyiola Omisore, on his 68th birthday.
In a statement released through his New Spring Media Team in Osogbo, Osun State, Olamiju described Omisore as one of the pillars of democracy in Osun State and Nigeria. He highlighted Omisore's remarkable service to the nation in various capacities at both state and federal levels.
Olamiju noted that Omisore played a pivotal role in the formulation of the Alliance for Democracy, where he served as Deputy Governor and made lasting impacts on the state's development. As a Senator and Chairman of the Appropriation Committee, Prince Omisore sponsored bills that benefited the state by increased Osun State's federal allocation, a benefit that still resonates with the people in the state today.
On behalf of Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency and Ife/Ijesa Senatorial District, I Prof Siji Olamiju, commended Distinguished Senator Omisore's dedication to public service and wished him many more years of good health, prosperity, and continued service to Osun State and humanity.
