A group of aspirants vying for the 2022 Local Government Chairmanship positions under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State have extended warm felicitations to a stalwart of the party, and one of the governorship aspirants in osun state Senator Iyiola Omisore, on his 68th birthday.
The aspirants, in a joint statement signed by the chairman of the groip Hon Temitope Adebayo and released through their spokesperson, Hon Wasiu Suleman praised Senator Omisore's remarkable contributions to the growth and development of the party, not just in Osun State, but across Nigeria. They celebrated his years of public service, noting his tenure as Deputy Governor of Osun State, National Secretary of the APC, and Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
"We are gathered here today as aspirants who obtained expression form during the 2022 local government elections, and we draw inspiration from the exemplary life and service of Senator Iyiola Omisore," the statement read. "His dedication, selflessness, and commitment to public service are qualities we aspire to emulate as we seek to serve our communities."
The aspirants wished Senator Omisore a happy 68th birthday, praying for more years of good health, joy, and fulfilment. They also celebrated his enduring legacy in the APC and his continued relevance in the political landscape of Nigeria.
