Popular Nollywood actor, Femi Araba, has opened up about the tragic loss of his wife and how their beautiful love story began. In a heartfelt interview on Feel Right News TV, the veteran actor shared both fond and heartbreaking memories.
Femi revealed that he met his late wife on a movie set, where their bond started. She was also an actress, and their friendship blossomed into a relationship that lasted over a decade before they tied the knot.
"We dated for 10 years before getting married," he said. "She was my best friend. We talked about everything together. I never had a male best friend—she was the only one I had."
However, what started as a joyful love story ended in unexpected sorrow. Femi recounted that the most painful day of his life was their 10th wedding anniversary—the same day he lost her.
"She was at home with our children while I was at a movie location. I spoke to her that night. She told me she planned to sleep late because she wanted to watch a movie," he recalled, visibly emotional.
The next morning, he sent her a message to check in, unaware that she had already passed. ". That moment shattered me. It felt like my world had ended."
Femi Araba described his wife as loving, supportive, and the core of his strength, adding that her death left a deep void in his life.
Her story is a reminder of how fleeting life can be and how important it is to cherish every moment with loved ones.
