Tinubu, Take Your Rest, You're An Old Man; Don’t Let Them Push You To Run Political Errands-Ayodele

In a recent YouTube video, Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, gave a strong piece of advice to President Bola Tinubu concerning his health and well-being.

The cleric, known for his outspoken prophecies on national issues, urged the President not to allow the pressures of governance and political demands to overwhelm him.

Ayodele emphasized that age and health must be carefully managed, reminding Tinubu that leadership requires balance between duty and personal care.

He said, “And let the president take his rest very well. You are old man, take your rest. Don’t let them push you. Go and do this baba. Go and do this baba. Go and take time. You need to manage your health.”

By this, the cleric was advising Tinubu to resist being pressured into overexertion by those around him, whether advisers, party members, or political allies.

He warned that constant demands could affect the President’s ability to govern effectively if his health is not prioritized.

According to Ayodele, it is better for the President to rest and remain strong than to exhaust himself trying to satisfy everyone.

The prophet’s comments suggest concern that Tinubu’s inner circle may overwhelm him with responsibilities without considering his physical limits.

Ayodele’s message was not just a spiritual warning but also a call for wisdom in leadership, stressing that the President’s health is critical to the success of his administration.

He concluded by reminding Tinubu that taking rest does not mean neglecting duty, but rather ensuring that he has the strength to carry out his responsibilities.

For Ayodele, preserving the President’s health is essential if he is to fulfill his mandate and lead Nigeria effectively.
