The ALUBARIKA Movement has held a strategic stakeholders’ and team leaders’ meeting across all Local Government Areas in Osun State, following the successful commissioning of the ALUBARIKA Movement House last Saturday.
During the meeting, the Chairman of the Movement, Alhaji Kehinde Olamolu, expressed profound appreciation to all members for their immense contributions toward the success of the commissioning. He described the event as exceptional, noting the impressive turnout and the joyful atmosphere created by the enthusiastic crowd. He also conveyed the delight of the Movement’s Principal, Senator Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru PhD, who was impressed by the unity, strength, and commitment demonstrated by members of the Movement.
The meeting discussed reaffirming the vision and mission of the ALUBARIKA Movement beyond the personal ambition of Senator Basiru, and charting a stronger collective direction for the future.
Hon. Adeoye Adelakun said that the ALUBARIKA Movement represents a progressive and forward-looking platform that extends beyond the political aspirations of any individual. He encouraged all members to remain calm, focused, and united, resist distractions and unnecessary noise from external elements. He appealed for continued cooperation and collective effort to sustain the Movement’s growing influence across the state.
A former Deputy Speaker,Rt. Hon. Taiwo Ṣomonu, reiterated that the ALUBARIKA Movement is a home for all progressives who believe in good governance and impactful political engagement. He applauded the efforts of the Movement in supporting its members and assured that even greater support, political, social, and welfare-oriented would be provided as the Movement expands. He urged members to avoid division, internal conflicts, and any form of separation that could weaken the structure.
Also addressing the gathering, Rt. Hon. Akintunde Adegboye highlighted the nature of political seasons where many groups become weakened or dispersed. He appealed strongly to members to remain steadfast, supportive of one another, and consistent in their loyalty to the Movement.
The Chairman further spoke glowingly about Senator Basiru’s humility, integrity, and non-desperate approach to leadership and politics. He emphasized that unity, love, and collective progress remain the topmost priorities of the ALUBARIKA Movement. He also acknowledged how the Movement has empowered many people and announced that plans are underway to roll out a comprehensive empowerment programme for all members.
Additionally, he revealed that the Movement will soon commence mobilization activities in support of the 2027 re-election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, aligning fully with the progressive ideals of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The Chairman concluded by expressing deep gratitude to all stakeholders, team leaders, and members for their unwavering dedication, sacrifice, and loyalty. He encouraged everyone to remain committed to positivity, unity, and strategic action as the Movement advances its next phase of activities. The meeting ended with prayers for continued growth, harmony, and success.
