The Alubarika Movement extends its profound appreciation to Nigerians, friends, associates, and well-wishers of our Principal, Senator Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru, Ph.D., National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), for the remarkable outpouring of love, prayers, condolences, and solidarity following the passing and Janazah prayer of his beloved mother, the late Alhaja Sidikat Basiru.
We express our deepest gratitude to His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, for his fatherly concern, comforting words, and heartfelt condolence during this period of bereavement.
Our sincere appreciation also goes to the National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress under the leadership of the National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, for standing firmly with our Principal. We equally acknowledge the Nigeria Governors’ Forum,Led by His Excellency Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum, Executive Governor of Borno State; His Excellency Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, Executive Governor of Ondo State; other governors; eminent political leaders; and public office holders whose presence and messages of sympathy reflected genuine compassion and enduring friendship.

We also appreciate the former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Our heartfelt gratitude equally goes to friends, neighbours, colleagues, family members, supporters, admirers, and the countless well-wishers who paid condolence visits, attended the Janazah prayer, sent messages of sympathy, offered prayers, or reached out in different ways to identify with our Principal and the Basiru family during this difficult time.
The Alubarika Movement reserves special appreciation for every leader, stakeholder, coordinator, and member of our Movement across the all Local Government Areas of Osun State. Your discipline, unity, loyalty, and unwavering commitment throughout this period exemplified the ideals upon which our Movement continues to thrive. We remain immensely proud of your conduct and deeply grateful for the steadfast support you demonstrated in honour of our Principal.
Although protocol and limited space make it impossible to acknowledge every individual and organisation by name, we wish to state unequivocally that no act of kindness went unnoticed. Every condolence visit, prayer, telephone call, message, and expression of solidarity has been received with profound gratitude and will forever remain cherished by the Basiru family and the Alubarika Movement.
As we continue to pray for the peaceful repose of the late Alhaja Sidikat Basiru, we beseech Almighty Allah (SWT) to abundantly reward everyone who stood with us, accept every prayer offered on behalf of the deceased, grant all our benefactors sound health, peace, and enduring prosperity, and admit our beloved Mama into Al-Jannatul Firdaus.
