The leadership and entire membership of the ALUBARIKA Movement express deep sympathy to the family of Hammed, who tragically lost his life, as well as to all other members of our great party APC, who sustained various degrees of injuries in the unfortunate accident that occurred during the Walk for Ambo Victory solidarity procession in Ede, Osun State. Our party leaders and members were waiting for the arrival of the APC gubernatorial candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), when the tragic incident occurred.
The movement received news of the incident with profound sadness, noting the pain and grief it has brought to the affected families, friends, and the wider progressive family. We particularly extend our heartfelt condolences to the family of the late Hammed and pray that Almighty Allah forgives his shortcomings, grants him Al-Jannatul Firdaus, and comforts all those he left behind.
The ALUBARIKA Movement also identifies with those currently receiving treatment following injuries sustained in the accident and prays for their speedy recovery and restoration to good health. Our thoughts remain with their families during this difficult period.
As a movement founded on the principles of compassion, solidarity, and service to humanity, we share in the grief of all those affected by this unfortunate occurrence and pray that Allah continues to protect our people from harm and grant comfort to every grieving heart.
