The Alubarika Movement today convened a high-level Strategic Meeting with its stakeholders across all local Government Areas of Osun state,at Alubarika House, Akinlade, Alekuwodo, Osogbo.
The meeting provided a platform for a comprehensive review of the activities, progress, and future direction of the Movement, while also deliberating on critical political developments and organizational matters of strategic importance to both the Alubarika Movement and the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Following extensive and constructive deliberations, stakeholders unanimously reaffirmed their unwavering loyalty, commitment, and allegiance to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Alubarika Movement. Participants reiterated that the Alubarika Movement remains an integral socio-political platform within the APC family, established to complement, strengthen, and advance the progressive ideals, structures, and electoral fortunes of the party across Osun State and beyond.
The meeting further emphasized that membership of the Movement remains firmly anchored on loyalty to the APC, adherence to progressive principles, and a shared commitment to promoting good governance, political inclusion, and sustainable development. Stakeholders resolved to continue working collectively towards strengthening party unity and consolidating the APC’s presence at the grassroots level.
In a unanimous resolution, stakeholders renewed their total support for the aspiration of Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO) to emerge victorious in the forthcoming Osun State Governorship Election.
The stakeholders equally reaffirmed their steadfast support for the administration and re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR. Participants pledged to continue mobilizing support for the APC at all levels while working tirelessly to secure electoral victories for the party in future elections.
A major highlight of the meeting was the goodwill address by the Principal of the Alubarika Movement, Distinguished Senator Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru, PhD, who commended members and stakeholders for their resilience, dedication, and unwavering commitment to the ideals of the Movement and the APC. The Senator urged members to remain united, disciplined, focused, and proactive in advancing the collective aspirations of the party and sustaining the momentum of grassroots mobilization across the state.
Stakeholders, in turn, expressed profound appreciation to Senator Basiru for his exemplary leadership, political mentorship, and consistent support for members of the Movement. They acknowledged his invaluable contributions to the growth and expansion of the Alubarika Movement and its members reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the movement visions for a stronger and more prosperous Osun State.
The meeting also reviewed preparations for the forthcoming Alubarika Business Support Empowerment Programme scheduled to hold on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at Alubarika House, Osogbo. Stakeholders expressed satisfaction with the level of preparation and they resolved to ensure the successful implementation of the programme and maximize its impact on beneficiaries.
At the conclusion of the meeting, stakeholders unanimously resolved to intensify grassroots engagement, political sensitization, and membership mobilization efforts across all Local Government Areas and wards of the state. They expressed confidence in the future of the APC, the Alubarika Movement, and the leadership of Distinguished Senator Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru, PhD, while reaffirming their collective determination to work tirelessly towards the realization of the Movement’s political, developmental, and empowerment objectives.
The meeting ended on a note of unity, renewed purpose, optimism, and an unwavering commitment to the continued growth of the Alubarika Movement and the electoral success of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
