ALUBARIKA MOVEMENT MOURNS THE PASSING OF DR. ISIAKA AYODELE OWOADE

The leadership and entire membership of the Alubarika Movement received with deep sorrow the news of the passing of Dr. Isiaka Ayodele Owoade, who departed this life on 22nd July, 2026. We join his family, the people of Ikire, and the progressive family in mourning the loss of a respected scholar, public servant, and community leader whose years of service left a lasting impact on the institutions and communities he served.

Dr. Owoade’s life was defined by a commitment to learning and public service. His academic accomplishments at the University of Ibadan and Loughborough University of Technology, United Kingdom, were complemented by his professional contributions as a lecturer, his service as Special Adviser to the Governor of the State of Osun on Lands and Physical Planning, his role as the pioneer Chairman of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) UK Chapter, and his traditional responsibility as the Babalaje of Ikireland. These roles reflected his dedication to the advancement of society and the progressive ideals he believed in.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his wife, Mrs. Olufunke Owoade, his children, grandchildren, siblings, the entire Owoade family, the people of Ikire, and all who are mourning his passing. We pray that Almighty Allah grants them strength, patience, and comfort during this difficult time, and that the memories of his life and service remain a source of encouragement.

As we bid farewell to Dr. Isiaka Ayodele Owoade, we pray that Almighty Allah, in His infinite mercy, forgives his shortcomings, accepts his good deeds, and grants him eternal rest in Al-Jannatul Firdaus. May Allah continue to uphold and comfort all those he left behind.
