The Brave Women Progressive Association Worldwide is set to officially commission a memorial bus stop in honour of the late Pa Simon Ajeigbe in Ororuwo, Osun State, on Saturday, July 18, 2026.
The project, described as a symbol of remembrance, service, and community development, is expected to attract a large gathering of dignitaries, traditional rulers, political leaders, and members of the community.
Osun State Governor, Senator (Dr.) Ademola Nurudeen Adeleke, is expected to attend the event as the Special Guest of Honour.
Other prominent personalities expected at the ceremony include Dr. Deji Adeleke, who will serve as the Father of the Day; Yeyeluwa Modupe Adeleke Sanni as the Mother of the Day; Mrs. Sekinah Bola Oyebamiji as the Chairperson of the Day; and Dr. Najeem Salam as the host.
The organisers said the commissioning of the memorial bus stop is aimed at preserving the legacy of the late Pa Simon Ajeigbe while providing a lasting public facility that will benefit residents and future generations.
The association noted that the event will also feature the attendance of royal fathers, community leaders, and other distinguished guests, underscoring the significance of the occasion to the people of Ororuwo and Osun State at large.
The ceremony is scheduled to take place in Ororuwo on Saturday, July 18, 2026.
