No Amount of Intimidation Will Stop Gov. Adeleke's Re-election, Says Prince Oyebowale


Executive Board Member of the Osun State Internal Revenue Service (OIRS), Prince Bola Oyebowale, FCA, ACTI, MMP, has expressed confidence that Governor Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke will secure a second term in office, declaring that no form of intimidation or political pressure will prevent the people of Osun State from re-electing the governor.

Speaking with journalists in Osogbo on Wednesday, Prince Oyebowale maintained that the people of the state remain resolute in their support for Governor Adeleke ahead of the August 15 governorship election.

According to him, attempts by opposition parties to intimidate voters or create fear in the political atmosphere will not succeed, as the electorate is determined to exercise its constitutional right to choose its preferred candidate.

He stated that Governor Adeleke's administration has continued to enjoy widespread acceptance across the state, adding that the governor's performance and commitment to governance have strengthened public confidence in his leadership.

Prince Oyebowale stressed that the forthcoming election should be conducted in a peaceful, free, and transparent manner, urging all political stakeholders to shun violence and allow the will of the people to prevail.

"No amount of intimidation by the opposition will stop the people of Osun State from re-electing Governor Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke. The people are fully aware of the progress made under his administration and are prepared to return him to office through their votes," he said.

He also called on supporters of the Accord Party to remain peaceful, law-abiding, and focused throughout the election period, expressing optimism that Governor Adeleke would emerge victorious at the polls.

Prince Oyebowale reaffirmed his confidence in the democratic process, saying the electorate would once again demonstrate their support for the governor when they cast their ballots on August 15.
