OSUN 2026: Oyebamiji Promises Mechanised Farming, Power, Roads as Prof. 'Siji Olamiju Delivers Obokun LG in Style. ... Thousands of residents turn out as royal fathers pray for APC victory at Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency rally

The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), has assured the people of Ijesa-North Federal Constituency of his administration's commitment to mechanised farming, stable power supply, and sustainable road networks if elected governor in the forthcoming August 15 election.

‎Oyebamiji made the pledge on Friday, July 17, 2026, at a well-attended rally held in Obokun Local Government Area, where he was received by a mammoth crowd of over 5,000 party loyalists, royal fathers, religious leaders, artisans, and residents from all 10 wards of the local government.

‎The event, which was meticulously coordinated by the Obokun Local Government Campaign Committee under the chairmanship of Professor 'Siji Olamiju, also serving as Co-Chairman of the Obokun/Oriade Campaign Committee, recorded one of the largest turnouts in the ongoing campaign tour.

‎*Oyebamiji's Promises to Ijesa-North*

‎Addressing the enthusiastic crowd at Ibokun and Ijebu-Jesa, Oyebamiji highlighted his administration's blueprint for agricultural revolution:

‎"My people of Ijesha-North, I know you are predominantly farmers. Our fathers, mothers, and youths are into farming in this area, and as such, we will do everything to support them. We will encourage mechanised farming that would make our people more productive and farming more profitable. Farmer-friendly policies will be formulated and implemented to support you all. Our administration shall provide necessary farm inputs and tools for all categories of farmers when elected Governor."

‎On infrastructure, he noted:

‎"I have seen the deplorable state of roads here. When we get there, we will open up our roads to complement our efforts in reviving the agricultural sector. We will ensure that all our farm produce gets seamlessly to the markets. We will open up our markets and provide a ready-made market for our farm products."

‎Oyebamiji also unveiled plans to attract foreign investment in the power sector, revealing that talks are ongoing with German investors to ensure stable electricity supply across the state.

‎*Royal Blessings for APC*

‎Speaking separately in their palaces, the Elegboro of Ijebu-Jesa, Oba Moses Olufemi Agunsoye, and the Alademure of Ibokun, Oba Festus Kayode Awogboro, extolled Oyebamiji's character and political antecedents.

‎"We have good news about you. We know you as a good person. Everyone that talks about you says good things about you. You are known as an Omoluabi, and we pray to God to continue to be with you and answer all your prayers," the monarchs said.

‎The royal fathers prayed fervently for Oyebamiji's victory, which they said would open their towns and people to more opportunities in agriculture, food processing, and physical infrastructure.

‎*The Architect of the Historic Turnout*

‎While the candidate's message resonated deeply, the seamless execution of the rally was credited to the strategic leadership of Professor 'Siji Olamiju, Chairman of the Obokun Local Government Campaign Committee and Co-Chairman of the Obokun/Oriade Campaign Committee.

‎From logistics and crowd mobilization across all 10 wards to stakeholder engagement and royal courtesies, Prof. Olamiju led a flawless operation that delivered the largest crowd seen so far in the campaign trail.

‎At the event, Prof. Olamiju stood side-by-side with the governorship candidate and the Director General of the Campaign Council—not as a spectator, but as a chief architect of the success story.

‎"Leadership is not about photo opportunities. It is about showing up, organizing, and delivering results. Obokun LG spoke loudly on July 17, and I am proud of our collective dayeffort," Prof. Olamiju stated.
