The Otun Babaloja of Sasa Market, Osogbo, and the representative of the Ataoja of Osogbo in all markets across the city, Alhaji Chief Kamarudeen Yusuf Efe, has commended the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for the August 15, 2026 Osun State governorship election, Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), the party's Osun Central Senatorial candidate, Kunle Rasheed "K-Rad" SAN, and Hon.
Dr. Olalekan Badmus, FNSE, Executive Director, Marine and Operations, Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), for their visit to the Iludun Community in Osogbo and their financial support towards the community's development.
Speaking on behalf of the community, Alhaji Yusuf Efe described the visit and donation as a demonstration of genuine concern for grassroots development and the welfare of the people. He noted that the gesture reflects the leaders' commitment to improving local communities and supporting projects that have a direct impact on residents.
He praised the APC leaders for identifying with the Iludun Community and urged other well-meaning individuals, political office holders, and philanthropists to emulate their example by investing in community development initiatives.
According to him, the financial donation has already been earmarked for the completion of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) office building in the Iludun Community. He explained that the project, once completed, will enhance the security of lives and property within the community and surrounding areas, providing a safer environment for residents and businesses.
"The support received from these leaders will go a long way in completing the NSCDC office, which is a critical project for our community. Security remains a priority, and this intervention will benefit not only Iludun but neighbouring communities as well," he said.
Alhaji Yusuf Efe also assured the APC governorship candidate, Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji, of the unwavering support of the Iludun Community in the forthcoming August 15, 2026 governorship election. He expressed confidence in the party's leadership and pledged that members of the community would stand behind the APC candidate at the polls.
The visit by the APC leaders and their contribution have been widely welcomed by residents, who described the intervention as timely and impactful.
