The Executive Board Member of the Osun State Internal Revenue Service (OIRS), Prince Bola Oyebowale, FCA, ACTI, MMP, has called on the people of Osun State to come out en masse on Saturday, August 15, 2026, and exercise their constitutional right by voting for Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke for a second term in office.
Prince Oyebowale urged the electorate not to be intimidated, distracted, or discouraged by what he described as acts of intimidation allegedly coming from the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.
According to him, the people of Osun State have the right to freely choose the leader they want, and no form of intimidation or political pressure can prevent them from exercising that right.
He appealed to eligible voters across the state to remain calm, peaceful, and resolute, while ensuring that they turn out in large numbers to cast their votes.
Prince Oyebowale expressed confidence that the people would once again demonstrate their support for Governor Adeleke at the polls, stressing that the governor's performance and commitment to the development of Osun State would speak for itself.
He therefore encouraged voters to protect their votes, remain peaceful throughout the electoral process, and reject any attempt to disenfranchise them.
“No amount of intimidation will stop the good people of Osun State from re-electing Governor Ademola Adeleke for a second term. The people have spoken, and they will speak again through their votes on Saturday.”
He concluded by urging all stakeholders, political parties, and supporters to conduct themselves peacefully and uphold the integrity of the electoral process in the interest of Osun State and its people.
