PECULIAR MESS: OSUN 2018 By ROTIMI MAKINDE
I am tired of hearing words like…”where is he from”….,” which Zone is he from”,” what party was he based before now, lagos or osun?...
Please I want to begin to hear something more important and purposeful like…. The course He studied?... what has He done before now or His previous direct impactson people in the community?,…how passionate and how familiar is He to the current predicament of our people?.... His plan for workers?... his plan for students?... His managerial skills to manage our meager resources?.... What and what does He have in his manisfesto?... What can we say about His character and his social network as an individual?.
I beg save yourself from embarrassment if you want to sell any gladiator to me unless you can honestly convince me beyond reasonable doubt about His worth and his pedigree even before he or she stepped into politics, and be prepared that I will definitely ask many questions and it shall bother on many things beyond Zoning, religion or wealth. Zoning is good but CAPABILITIES matter, its not about our today or money but about the future of our dear state.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH……..
Let’s be more realistic now without been parochial.
Searching for capable hands with required CAPABILITIES is better than a blindfolded ambition.
