Osun Commissioner for Women, Children and Social Affairs, Holds Meeting with National Cash Transfer Stakeholders

Earlier today, the Honourable Commissioner for Women, Children and Social Affairs, Barr. Olubukola Olaboopo, was at the National Cash Transfer stakeholders' meeting on the co responsibilities of stakeholders on the social intervention collaboration between Federal Government and Osun State Government. The program is a government initiative aimed at assisting the poorest of the poor in our communities by endowing them with a monthly welfare stipend.

The meeting was to present the report of the supply side assessment of facilities conducted and to discuss the gaps identified during the assessment amongst other issues.

The Commissioner made a goodwill message at the meeting and discussed further, ways at ensuring that the essence of the initiative is not defeated.

Also in attendance were the representatives of the Governor, Dr. Bode Olaonipekun, the Commissioner for Health, Dr. Rafiu Isamotu, ALGON Chairman, Hon. Abiodun Idowu, Permanent Secretaries, Directors in the ministry of women, children and social affairs, Representatives from National Cash Transfer Unit, Abuja and many Others.
