Osun Commissioner for Women, Children and Social Affairs, Joined Osun First Lady to Distribute Clean Gas Stove to Women in the State.

State of Osun Commissioner for Women, Children and Social Affairs, Barr. Olubukola Olaboopo, joined the Hon. Commissioner for Environment & Sanitation,  Engr. Solagbade Oladepo, in the distribution of Clean Gas Stoves to Women in the State in commemoration of His Excellency, the State Governor's 1st year in office anniversary organized by the Ministry of Environment and Sanitation in collaboration with the Ministry of Women, Children & Social Affairs. The program is a social welfare program aimed at ameliorating the cooking hardships of women in the State. The occasion was graced and flagged off by Her Excellency, the First Lady, Alhaja Kafayat Oyetola. At the Occasion, over a thousand Cooking stoves were distributed.
 The women were sensitised on the effect of firewood cooking on their health and the climate. Amongst other dignitaries at the occasion were  Alh. Ayo Omidiran, Fmr House of Representatives member Representing Isokan  Federal constituency, Iyaloja General, Alh. Awawu Asindemade and many others.
