Kamarudeen made this known this morning in a statement made available to the newsmen in Osogbo, he described this period has a time that all religions need to come together and pray to God for forgiveness of our sins and to heal our land against the scourge of coronavirus pandemic who had been affecting the world for some months now.
According to him, I want to urged the residents of osun to support the state and Nigeria at large with prayers in order to stop this deadly pandemic disease because that is only thing will need at this moment, the lockdown shouldn't be use for pleasure things rather than to pray for the healing of our land against this deadly coronavirus that is affecting the world, all what will need now is God intervention and forgiveness of the sins we have committed and this the right time for all religions to come together and speak with one voice to put a stop to this pandemic that is killing young and old in all the countries.
"I want to also implore the residents of Osun to strictly comply with the guidelines and directives issued by the state government because that is the only way that will can prevent the scourge of the deadly pandemic disease and also do their bit to support Government and the most vulnerable in their communities.
I also commended the Governor of the State His Excellency, Alh. Isiaka Gboyega Oyetola for his proactive measures in curbing the menace from spreading and for constituting a reliefs package Committee with the inclusion of highly reputable people in the society that will be led by Alhaji Tunde Badmus.
