In a statement signed and released by the Media Aide to the Honourable Commissioner, Barr. Olaboopo said it is the responsibility of individuals in the State to join the government in catering for the welfare of people.
She stressed that the deadly pandemic disease COVID-19 is a preventable disease if only citizens comply with government directives. She urged mothers to seize the opportunity to bond with their children and go through their school works. She emphasized the need to keenly keep a watch on the children to avoid sexual abuse. She commended the Governor of the State His Excellency, Alh. Isiaka Gboyega Oyetola for his proactive measures in curbing the menace from spreading.
While speaking the recipients appreciated the Honourable Commissioner on behalf of party stalwarts and the people of Boripe North and Boripe Central Local Government Area for giving back to her people at this point in time from her token.
Recall that the Commissioner had last week went round markets to sensitize market men and women and solicited their cooperation towards government directives in respect of the pandemic.
