The Government of the State of Osun under the administration of Mr. Gboyega Oyetola has commended the effort of Osun Forum over the donation of Multi-purpose Hall to support the government on the Covid- 19 pallative efforts.
The Commissioner for Commerce, Industry, Cooperative the Empowerment, Dr. Bode Olaonipekun received the donation on behalf of the Covid- 19 Interface Relief Committee in Osogbo,the State Capital.
Dr.Olaonipekun disclosed that, the Hall which is located along Osogbo/Gbogan Road,Ogo- Oluwa Area,Osogbo was donated to warehouse food items meant for pallative efforts of the government for the period of time, while the intervention lasts.
The Commissioner on behalf of the Committee appreciated the Forum for donating their hall for social responsibility.
The President of the Forum, Asiwaju Olaitan Alabi, who was represented by the Vice-President, Elder Akintayo also commended the efforts the State government has taken so far to curtail further spread of the disease in the State.
He assured the government that Osun Forum is ready to stand by the government in every step taken to curtail the challenges posed by the spread of the disease.
