Reports circulating on social media have suggested that Heritage Bank has suspended it’s endorsement with D’Banj till further notice due to the recent rape allegations made against him.
Few weeks ago, a Nigerian model scout, Benjamin Ese, had alleged that Dbanj raped his friend on December 31, 2018, at a hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos.
Although D’Banj has denied these allegations via his Instagram handle and even sued for N100M compensation, the beginning of his deal with Heritage Bank which came to him as a birthday gift seems to be coming to a halt.
Seyitan who had claimed to be the model in question was arrested some days ago though she claimed it never happened but noted that she does not want to get involved in the case again.
With Seyitan backing out of the case in such delicate time, fans on social media stated that she was pressured into saying the statement as she don’t want to lose her life.
The IGP have however order the probe of D’Banj as they tend to investigate the rape scandal and make sure justice is served.
