Two suspected robbers, who had earlier escaped from Iragbiji, after a botched operation, have been nabbed by Amotekun Corps, State of Osun, at Owena Ijesa, this evening.
The gang had yesterday robbed in Iragbiji, where two of them were arrested and three others escaped to Owena.
Following a tip-off from members of the public, Amotekun ad-hoc men at Owena boundary today nabbed another two, while one of them escaped.
The two, Kazeem Ridwan and Taiwo Olanrewaju, have been handed over to the DPO, Ipetu-Ijesa Divisional Headquarters of the Nigeria Police for further investigation.
Meanwhile, the DPO at Iragbiji, in whose custody the first two suspected robbers have been, is currently making efforts to reach out to his counterpart at Ipetu-Ijesa.#
