The Nigeria Army has denied the Video and News flying around on social media on the killing of the protesters at Lekki Toll Gate yesterday night, you will recalled that Governor Babajide Sanwolu yesterday afternoon imposed a 24-hour curfew on Lagos State to stop criminals who hide under the pretense of #EndSARS protests to unleash mayhem on innocent citizens and residents of the State.
The Nigeria Army took to their official Twitter page to deny involvement in the Lekki Toll Gate shooting at #EndSARS Protests, they made it known that their men has not to do with the shooting of the protesters and their aims is to protect the lives of citizens which they will continue do, they urged Nigerians to disregard the Video and News flying around on social media.
However,. The Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwolu urges residents to observe the Curfew for a peaceful atmosphere, because some miscreants has hijacked the peaceful protest which has resulted in the destroying of government and private properties in the state.
He advises Lagosians to remain calm and not allow criminals, who have hijacked the noble protest of our gallant youths, to succeed in their evil plan of turning our dear state upside down.
