A Chieftaincy of the All Progressive Congress in the State and An Aspirant in the last APC Primary to represent Obokun State Constituency, Hon Adeyeye Adeyemi Akinson, has felicitated with the people of the State of Osun, particularly Christians as they celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
Akinson felicitated with Christians in a statement made available to the Newsmen in Osogbo, the State Capital.
He called on the people of the State and Nigerians to rededicate themselves to the service of humanity in line with the true teachings of Jesus Christ which emphasises tolerance, patience, brotherly kindness, care for the needy and love for one another, among other virtues.
"The yuletide season presents us an opportunity once more to love, share and forgive. I urge all our people in the State of Osun and Nigerians to utilize the period to pray for unity, peace and prosperity in the State and nation.
"We must also rededicate ourselves to the true virtues of faith in God, love for one another, honesty and peaceful coexistence. It is time to make these virtues more evident and practical in our daily lives," Akinson stated.
"I wish all the good people of Obokun State Constituency, State of Osun and Nigeria at large a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year in advance," he said.
