Christmas: Osogbo South Chairmanship Aspirant, Yusuf Idowu, Rejoices with Christian



The Chairmanship Aspirant For Osogbo South LCDA, Hon. Yusuf Idowu Abass (IDEAL), has rejoices with Christians in Osogbo, the State of Osun and Particularly the Governor of the State of Osun Ogbeni Adegboyega Isiaka Oyetola, his wife Alhaja Kafayat Oyetola and the Deputy Governor Mr. Olugboyega Benedict Alabi and his wife, All Cabinet Members, APC State Chairman, Prince Adegboyega Famodun,  Party Leaders in Osogbo and Members, on the occasion of the celebration of life birth of Jesus Christ.


In a release made available to the Newsmen in Osogbo the state Capital today, the Chairmanship Aspirant reminds Christians that Christmas symbolizes humility as Jesus was born in a lowly place.


"As we celebrate, We shoudn't forget that the birth of Jesus Christ is more of sober reflection than of outright merry making as the celebrant chose to come to the world in a manger and not a princely place. Therefore, we have to celebrate in moderation,'' Yusuf Idowu Said.


The Chairmanship Aspirant goes further that celebration of the birth of Christ should accommodate giving and sharing as Jesus is believed to have given his life for the salvation of man according to the Christian faith.


The Chairmanship Aspirant also urges people generally to learn to live in harmony not minding their religious differences.


"the season of Christmas is one that exemplifies the virtues of love and peaceful co-existence. We must continue to extend hand of love, benevolence and live as one family irrespective of our Creed or colour.


"We must also continue to respect each other's right to live freely and peacefully. The period of Christmas commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ, who is the symbol of Christianity and the Harbinger of peace, love and good tidings."


The Chairmanship Aspirant who also urge the people of the state of osun to continue their support for the Administration of Ogbeni Adegboyega Isiaka Oyetola the Governor of the State of Osun so as to take the state to a greater height in no distant time.
