The Governor of the State of Osun, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola has approved the appointment of Professor Jimoh Atanda Afolabi as the Acting Provost of the Osun State College of Education, Ila Orangun.
Professor Jimoh Atanda Afolabi obtained his First and Second Degrees from the University of Ibadan and his PhD from the Federal University of Technology, Akure in Ondo State.
He served as a Professor of Agricultural and Resource Economics in the Federal University of Technology, Akure from 2013 till his new appointment.
He is widely travelled, locally and internationally. He is married with children.
Mr Governor expresses gratitude to the out-going Provost and wishes him the best in all his future endeavours.
