We are in possession of a copy of the Nation Newspaper of Tuesday, 11th May, 2021, page 35 where a paid advert was made in the name of *Olaojo* *Ruling* *House* in respect of Olufon chieftaincy, we consider the said publication mischievous, malicious, a contempt of court order and a waste of resources from a drowning lineage.
From the heading of the said publication, Olaojo Ruling House is not known to law and subsisting 1979 Olufon Chieftaincy Declaration. It is only a drowning lineage that's desperately looking for survival that will lay claim to having Olaojo Ruling House after a court order has nullified the 1988 chieftaincy declaration purportedly made during the period of interregnum.
On whether or not the 1979 Chieftaincy Declaration is the subsisting declaration in the Olufon chieftaincy, it is an elementary knowledge of law that any declaration made during the period of interregnum is a nullity. Let those who are still holding contrary view keep day dreaming, the reality will soon dawn on them.
On HOS/144/89 instituted by Raifu Oyegbile, Ashiru Adeboye, Adeleke Adewoyin, Jamiu Oyewole *Vs* Alimi Oyetunde, Bakare Oyedeji and Tiamiyu Olayode where the said publication claimed that Oyegbile and others instituted it in their personal capacity, ask them where were the fathers of other members of their family all through the litigation process? Were they all in coma all through the court processes?
Tell *Wahab* *Adeboye*, the first signatory of the publication in question that *Ashiru* *Adeboye* his late father was the 2nd plaintiff in the said suit and the judgement is binding on him and his entire generations. Let *Adekunle* *Lateef* also know that himself and *Benson* *Adekunle* are of *Faleke's* *Compound* and should keep of royal matters. Alhaji *Sule* *Akinyooye* whose uncle was then Olufon, Oba James Olagunju Akinyooye 11 was a signatory to all Oluronbi's papers that birthed Odunolu Ruling House while *Yesufu* *Oyedepo*, the father of the 4th signatory was a plaintiff witness 1(PW1) in the Suit no HOS/144/89 which declared Oluronbi family as *members*, *indeed* *the* *core* *members* of Odunolu Ruling House of Olufon chieftaincy.
