Osun Commissioner for Political Affairs and Inter-governmental Relation, Hon Taiwo Akeju has rejoiced with the Muslim faithfuls on the occasion Eid-el-Adha.
Akeju in his Eid-el-Adha message urged Muslims to hold on to the teachings and lessons of Prophet Mohammed (SAW).
He advised Muslims to remain steadfast, lead a life that reflects piety and be more dedicated to the virtues of the Holy Prophet (SAW).
“Eid-el-adha only marks the remembrance of Prophet Ibrahim but Muslims should increase their spirit of devotion, Sacrifice, charity, tolerance, forgiveness, piety beyond the Occasion”, Akeju said
He reiterated the commitment of the present administration headed by Governor Gboyega Oyetola to work tirelessly towards the progress of the state and the wellbeing of the people, especially the less privileged.
He specifically called for continued prayers to Almighty Allah for our leaders, President Muhammadu Buhari, Governor Adegboyega Oyetola and many others, for divine guidance and protection from adversaries.
Akeju prayed to Allah Almighty to accept all acts performed during this period as an acts of Ibadah and reward all faithful Muslims in multiple folds.
