Armed robbers on Thursday afternoon attacked UBA bank and Access bank Iree in Boripe Local Government area of Osun state.
In the information gathered by our correspondent, the armed robbers, who arrived the banks located within the same location around 4pm, were said to have operated for about 15 minutes before leaving the scene.
One unidentified man was killed by the Gunmen.
A student of Osun State polytechnic, Iree on anonymity, confirmed that the robbers were shooting sporadically into the air while escaping through Iree-Ada road.
When speaking with the newsmen on the incident, the Osun command’s Police spokesperson, Yemisi Opalola confirmed the incident and disclosed that police have been deployed to the scene.
