As Osun Amotekun Corps enlisted applicants are preparing to resume camp tomorrow, the Osun Amotekun Ad-hoc personnel today apprehended one Abdulateef Ibrahim, 41 years, a bricklayer who came from Abeokuta to work in Osogbo, he was arrested for Stealing perimeter iron rod on a fence of one acre of land belong to Elder Adewale Richard Adeyinka.
According to Information gathered by idealplusgist.com Correspondent, Abdulateef Ibrahim was invited to work as a bricklayer in the building inside the fence at aganga village Ayegbami community kobongbogboe, Osogbo and he started stealing the perimeter iron rod galvanized with pipe of Elder Adewale Richard Adeyinka, who own one acre of land which he bought 9 years and made the fence in 2019 with perimeter iron rod and galvanized pipe on it.
The Amotekun personnel who swung into action after receiving a report from one member of Amotekun living in the community at about 5am.
When speaking with our correspondent, owner of the stolen perimeter iron rod with galvanized pipe, Elder Adewale Richard appeal to security agent to help him recovered his stolen items. He appreciates Amotekun for apprehends the burglar, urge citizens and residents to corporate and join hands with Amotekun in the State.
The Chairman of the community, Mr Afolabi Ayodele appreciate Amotekun personnel for their prompt action on the incident.
He has been handed over to DSS for further investigation and prosecution.
