The Field Commander of the Osun State Security Network Agency and Amotekun Corps, Comrade Amitolu Shittu has eulogized governor Adegboyega Oyetola over his security priority and devotion to protection of lives and properties of the residents of the state.
Speaking on the weekly sociopolitical enlightenment radio programme, Ilerioluwa Half Hour, in Osogbo on Thursday, Comrade Amitolu commended Oyetola for being a proactive administrator whose commitment to peace, security and protection of people's lives deserved an applause.
According to him, the Governor has written his name in gold with his unprecedented strides in the establishment of the State Security Network Agency and Amotekun Corps, and efficient operation of the agency despite paucity of funds in the state.
Tracing the genesis of the historical formation of the state security agency, Amitolu said law makers in the state Assembly played unforgettable key role which provided legislative constitutional backing for legal operation of Amotekun in the state.
The Field Commander of the Corps however, admonished trouble-makers in the state, who are hell-bent on causing troubles and mayhem to turn a new leaf, saying the Corps would not spare anyone found culpable and guilty of any offence.
Playing host to the Amotekun Commander who was flanked by armed security guards on arrival to the OSBC Radio studio was the Coordinator of the live programmme, Mr. Jimoh Olorede.
