The leadership of Osun Western Security Network Agency coded as "Amotekun Corps" led by the Board Chairman, Brid Gen Ademola Isah Aderibigbe, today paid a condolence visit to the family of late Afolabi Wakeel in Apomu, Isokan local government of Osun State who died on January 10, 2022 after a brief illness.
Brid Gen. Aderibigbe was accompanied by the Corps Commander Brid Gen. Bashir Adewinbi, Field Commander Comrade Amitolu Shittu and the Board Secretary, Barr. Hassan Agbelekale among others to the Agberi's compound Apomu home of the deceased.
The Amotekun Boss in his condolence message stated that the death of Officer Wakeel has created a big vacuum that could only be filled by God. He described the deceased as a special man who has served God, mankind, state of Osun and Nigeria diligently in all areas.
According to him, "Our sincere and heartfelt condolences to Officer Afolabi Wakeel family on the tragic passing of such a courageous man. His sacrifice will be forever remembered and I hope that the outpouring of love to his family will help in some small way during this extremely difficult time.
Brid Gen Aderibigbe also reaffirmed the Amotekun Corps commitment to tackle crimes and social vices in the state.
The Amotekun leadership were received by the wife of the deceased.
The wife of the deceased in her response on behalf of the bereaved family appreciated the Amotekun leadership and other personnels for their concern and support.
