The largest sociopolitical group in Osun State, Ileri-Oluwa Vendors (IOV), has described yesterday's inauguration of the state's All Progressives Congress (APC) party Chairman in Abuja, Prince Gboyega Famodun, as portending a good omen for Governor Adegboyega Oyetola's victory in the coming state gubernatorial poll.
The group stated this in a congratulatory message issued and made available to newsmen in Osogbo by its General Secretary, Jimoh Olorede.
The Director General (DG) of the association, Prince Dayo Babaranti, in the statement, congratulated the newly inaugurated party Chairman and his executive members, saying Oyetola led government would continue to leverage on their political experience and efficient party management.
According to the statement, Osun APC party administration under Famodun's Chairmanship has facilitated many unprecedented achievements for the APC led government in the state.
The group's DG in the statement further said: "Prince Famodun is an astute party-man. He doesn't only administer the party's operations in the state, but also wins elections, and ensures his party remains the ruling party in the state.
"We are optimistic that his inauguration, which legally empowers him and renews his tenure as the Chairman of the APC in the state, will smoothen the process of Oyetola's re-election in the state".
The group also extended its congratulatory goodwill message to other executive members of the party, describing them as Famodun's arsenals, without whose support the party team would be incomplete.
