The immediate past legislator for Osogbo Federal Constituency, Hon. Olubukola Oyewo, has congratulated Muslims on the celebration of Eid-el-Adha.
In a communique personally signed and issued on Tuesday in Osogbo by Hon. Oyewo, the former federal lawmaker described the Eid al-Adha as an important occasion in Islam which among many others demonstrated Allah's benevolence and love for mankind.
According to him, "I felicitate with Muslims both at home in Osogbo Federal Constituency, Oṣun State and across Nigeria, on the occasion of this year's Eid-el-Kabir.
It is truly significant that this year's celebration is coming at a time of 'Renewed Hope' for a better Nigeria.
May all our supplications that are offered during this special day command bountiful blessings of the Almighty towards us all.
This is a time that we must look out for the needy in our midst. We must work to be our brothers' keepers by sharing our personal resources with vulnerable individuals in our society.
This is a time we should pray for our leaders, especially President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all those saddled with the responsibilities of leadership at all levels across our country.
With prayers, I have no doubt that God will inspire and guide our nation to attain economic development, improved security and all-round rejuvenation.
Therefore, as we commemorate this important occasion, I call on all our brothers and sisters, to continue to support the present administration in Nigeria in its bid to deliver a prosperous and progressive country.
I also want to use this auspicious occasion to greet the leadership and all members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State. May God continue to strengthen our great party".
"Once again, I wish you all an exciting and memorable 2023 Eid-El-Kabir"
Signed:
Hon. Olubukola Oyewo
