The Osun Amotekun Corps Commander Brig. Gen. Bashir Adewinmbi has sent a condolence message to the family of the late Ogun State Corps Commander, CP David Ajibola Akinremi.
In a statement issued from the Amotekun Headquarters and signed by the Corps Commander, Brig. Gen. Bashir Adewinmbi, also commiserate with the government, Ogun State Amotekun Corps Management, the people of Ogun State, and the home of the deceased Corps Commander.
He described the late Cp Akinremi as someone who always take the security of lives and properties of his state very incredibly and he will greatly be missed by all.
The statement reads in part, "The Osun State Corps Commander and his management team, on behalf of the entire officers and men of the Osun Amotekun Corps wishes to commiserate with the Akinremi family, the Government and good people of Ogun State on the demise and passage unto the glory of their illustrious son, CP. David Ajibola Akinremi."
Adewinmbi also prayed for the perfect repose of the deceased and asked Almighty God to "grant his family, the Government, Ogun State Amotekun Management, and good people of Ogun State the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss".
