Babalaje of Osogbo, Opabola Congratulates Ataoja, Osogbo Indigenes on 2024 Osun-Osogbo Festival


As the 2024 edition of the annual Osun-Osogbo festival reaches its climax, Chief Kasali Opabola, Babalaje of Osogbo land and renowned business tycoon, has congratulated the Ataoja of Osogbo, Oba Jimoh Abidemi Oyetunji Olanipekun Larooye II, and indigenes of the town on the celebration.


In a congratulatory message made available to newsmen in Osogbo, Opabola applauded the monarch for his sterling leadership, which has brought significant progress to Osogbo over the last 14 years. He emphasized the importance of the Osun-Osogbo festival in promoting the rich spiritual and cultural heritage of Osogbo and urged stakeholders to work together to raise its profile globally.


Opabola also felicitated with devotees of the Osun deity, the Ataoja-in-council, community leaders, the state government, market men and women, the business community, indigenes, and residents of Osogbo.


"I felicitate with all sons and daughters of Osogboland on the 2024 Osun-Osogbo festival," Opabola said. "I congratulate specially our father, the custodian of Osun-Osogbo, Kabiyesi Ataoja of Osogbo, Oba Jimoh Oyetunji Olanipekun Larooye II, his queens, the royal families, the Ataoja-in-Council, community heads and leaders, traders, artisans, and the entire indigenes and residents of the Osun State capital on the occasion."


Opabola commended Oba Jimoh Oyetunji Olanipekun Larooye II for his efforts in making the festival a catalyst for development in Osogbo and urged people to contribute to the development of the town.
