Alhaji Chief Kamarudeen Yusuf Efe, the Otun Babaloja of Sasa Market and Chairman of Osun State Prayer Warrior, has extended warm greetings to the paramount ruler of Osogbo, His Royal Majesty Oba Jimoh Oyetunji Olanipekun (Larooye II), the Ataoja of Osogbo, on the occasion of the 2024 Osun Osogbo Festival.
In his message, Alhaji Efe praised Oba Jimoh Oyetunji Olanipekun for his tireless efforts in promoting the development and growth of Osogbo. He also commended the Ataoja for his role in preserving the cultural heritage of Osogbo land.
Alhaji Efe further expressed appreciation for the Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, for ensuring the provision of adequate security during the festival. He also thanked the security agencies, including Amotekun Corps, Police, DSS, NSCDC, Hunters, and OPC, for their efforts in maintaining peace and order in the state capital.
He urged the residents of Osogbo to live in harmony with one another and with traditional worshipers during the festival, just as they did during Muslim and Christian celebrations. Alhaji Efe wished Oba Jimoh Oyetunji Olanipekun a long and peaceful reign, and prayed for continued development and prosperity in Osogbo and its environs.
