AKOL Joins Muslims to Celebrate Prophet Muhammad's (SAW) Birth, Urges Emulation of His Teachings

Prof. Siji Olamiju (Akol), a prominent Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun East Senatorial district,has joined Muslims across the globe to celebrate the birthday of Prophet Muhammad, SAW. 

In a statement released in Osogbo, Prof. Olamiju urged Muslims to emulate the teachings of Prophet Muhammad, which emphasized peace, love, and unity. He encouraged Muslims to extend the hands of fellowship to their brethren and put these values into practice.

The Maoulud Nabbiy celebration offers us an opportunity to reflect on the Prophet's teachings and strive to make the world a better place," Prof. Olamiju said. He also urged Muslims to use this period to pray for the country and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, expressing confidence that with prayer, and sincere commitment of the citizenry ,Nigeria will regain her lost glory under the President's "Renewed Hope" agenda.

Prof. Olamiju inspired the Muslim Ummah to always resonates with the core values of compassion, tolerance, and forgiveness that Prophet Muhammad embodied. As Muslims celebrate His birth, he also  reminds them of the importance of living by these principles and working towards a more harmonious society. Prof Olamiju concluded.
