Ataoja of Osogbo Commends Osogbo South LCDA, Osun Govt. for Successful Borehole, Solar Street Lights Project at Gbagi Larooye Market

The Ataoja of Osogbo, His Royal Majesty Oba Jimoh Oyetunji Olanipekun Larooye II, has expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the Osogbo South Local Council Development Area (LCDA), the Osun State Government, and other key stakeholders for the successful completion of the borehole and solar street lights project at Gbagi Larooye Market, Osogbo.

In a statement issued by the spokesperson to the royal father and Supervisor of the Ataoja in all markets within Osogbo, Alhaji Chief Kamarudeen Yusuf Adekunle (Efe), Oba Oyetunji lauded the significant contributions made by several individuals and organizations towards improving the infrastructure and living conditions within the community.

The Ataoja specifically commended the leadership of the Osogbo South LCDA under HLA Mrs. Adebisi Elizabeth Oluwatoyin, for their foresight in initiating and ensuring the successful execution of the projects. The projects, which have greatly improved access to clean water and enhanced security within the market, are a testament to the leadership's commitment to the welfare of the people of Osogbo South and the entire Osogbo community.

Oba Oyetunji also expressed deep gratitude to the State Government of Osun, under the able leadership of Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, for their unwavering support and collaboration in the realization of the projects. He acknowledged the significant role played by Mrs. Aderemi R. Adejoke of the Water and Environmental Sanitation Department in facilitating the process and ensuring the project met its objectives.

Additionally, the royal father extended his appreciation to the contractor responsible for the project, Alhaji Ajani Najeemudeen, for his dedication and professionalism in the execution of the work, which has contributed to the community's overall well-being. He also applauds the Market chiefs for their commitment towards the progress and development of the market. 

The completion of the borehole has provided a reliable source of clean water to residents and traders in the market, while the installation of solar-powered street lights has greatly improved safety and visibility, particularly during the evening hours.
