Osun Lions Club Honors Osun Amotekun Corps Commander, Omoyele with Award of Excellence in Humanitarian Services

The Osun Esteem Lions Club celebrated the outstanding contributions of Dr. Hon. Omoyele Isaac Adekunle, Corps Commander of the Osun Amotekun Corps, by presenting him with an Award of Excellence in Humanitarian Services. 


The event took place at the Adebimpe Event Center in Osogbo, bringing together distinguished members of the community who have made significant impacts in various sectors.



Dr. Omoyele was honored alongside other notable figures, including Hon. Mashood Olalekan Olagunju, Osun State Commissioner for Youths; Hon. Fatunmise Olumide Saheed, a member of the Osun State House of Assembly; Hon. Abimbola Dunsin, Executive Secretary of the Osun Internal Revenue Service; Hon. Prince Abayomi Adesina Aina (Omo-Adugbo), PDP Chairmanship Candidate for Boluwaduro Local Government; and Mrs. Oluwaseyi Salam, Proprietress of OASIS Royal Academy, among others.


Lion Moses O. Adewuyi, the 4th President of Osun Esteem Lions Club International District 404B2, commended Dr. Omoyele and the other awardees for their unwavering dedication to humanity. He highlighted that the Lions Club meticulously evaluates nominees based on their tangible contributions to society, underscoring the significance of the awards.



In his acceptance remarks, Dr. Omoyele was represented by Comrade Lukman Gbotemi, who expressed gratitude for the recognition. Omoyele dedicated the award to the Executive Governor of Osun State, Sen. Asiwaju Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, praising him for his exceptional leadership and contributions to the security and well-being of the state’s citizens.


The event served as a powerful reminder of the impact of humanitarian efforts and the importance of community service in fostering a safer and more supportive environment for all.
