The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Councilorship candidate for Ward 11, Ijeda/Iloko, Hon. Adeyemi Rasheed Adetona, marked a significant milestone in his life as he celebrated his wedding to Idakwo Aishat in a vibrant and well-attended ceremony yesterday. Hon. Adeyemi Rasheed, widely respected in his community, began his educational journey at L.A. Primary School, where he served as the Assistant Health Prefect. This early leadership role underscored his dedication to excellence and service, traits that have defined his life and career.


He continued his education at Osowusi Muslim Commercial High School, excelling academically and earning the prestigious position of Senior Prefect in 2006. These formative experiences helped shape his character, instilling in him a commitment to hard work and leadership.





A proud alumnus of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Hon. Adeyemi actively participated in student politics during his time there. He represented Oriade students under the National Association of Osun State Students (NAOSS) at LAUTECH, showcasing his passion for advocacy and representation. Additionally, he served as President of the Federation of Iloko Ijesa Students Union, further highlighting his dedication to community development and student welfare.


The wedding ceremony, held in Itobe, Kogi State, was a spectacle of cultural elegance and unity. It attracted an array of dignitaries, including religious leaders, military officers, political stakeholders, journalists, business executives, government officials, and representatives of private organizations. The bride, Idakwo Aishat, radiated beauty and grace in her elegant wedding gown, while the groom, Hon.
