In a heartfelt expression of support and admiration, Alhaji Kamarudeen Yusuf Efe, the Otun Babaloja of Sasa Market in Osogbo and Chairman of the Osun State Prayer Warrior group, has congratulated the newly installed Bobagunwa of Osogboland, Alhaji Teslim Igbalaye, on his elevation to this prestigious title. Alhaji Kamarudeen described the installation as a "round peg in a round hole," affirming that it is well-deserved due to Teslim Igbalaye's outstanding contributions, especially during his tenure as Chairman of Osogbo Local Government.


Speaking to journalists in Osogbo, Alhaji Kamarudeen praised Igbalaye’s significant achievements in the community, highlighting the development projects he initiated while serving as Chairman. These included the facilitation of the Rasheed Igbalaye Model School at Fiwasaye, the establishment of a maternity center in Iludun Community, and the provision of two transformers to the Iludun Community. Furthermore, Igbalaye’s leadership was instrumental in appointing Alhaji Kamarudeen Yusuf Efe as Executive Assistant, a move that significantly impacted his career and facilitated his progress to becoming the Secretary to the State Government today. Alhaji Kamarudeen emphasized that it is due to these contributions that Teslim Igbalaye was rightfully installed as the Bobagunwa of Osogboland, a recognition that further cements his legacy of service to the community.


Alhaji Kamarudeen also expressed his deep appreciation for the distinguished dignitaries who attended the installation ceremony, underscoring the importance of their presence in honoring Teslim Igbalaye. He extended special thanks to Ataoja of Osogbo, HRM Oba Jimoh Oyetunji Olanipekun (Larooye II), Governor Asiwaju Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, former Governor Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, Deputy Governor of Osun State Prince Adewumi, and the Commissioner for Rural and Urban Development and Chairman of the Forum of Commissioners in Osun State, Alhaji Gani Olaoluwa, former Osun Deputy Governor, Otunba Grace Titi Laoye Ponnle, Other prominent figures who attended the event included former Osogbo LG Chairman Alhaji Liadi Gbadamosi, Asiwaju of Osogboland Rtd Justice Adeigbe, Oluomo of Osogboland Tajudeen Oladipupo, Chief Yemi Elebuibon, Araba Awo of Osogboland, HRM Oba Oyelude Hammed Makama Olowu Kuta, and several other royal fathers who came to celebrate Teslim Igbalaye’s success.


Additionally, Alhaji Kamarudeen acknowledged the contributions of Osogbo’s traditional chiefs, including the Baales, Iyalojas, and Babalojas, as well as the OPU both National and Home Branch. He also recognized Osogbo’s sons and daughters, especially the Babakekere of Osogboland, Alhaji Suleiman Olanipekun, and the Iyaoba of Osogbo, Muibat Oyetunji, among others. Their collective presence reflected the strong support and unity of the Osogbo community in celebrating this momentous occasion.
