Eid 2025: Ghaff Unity Shines As Ede Indigenes Celebrate Ajilalaoso Festival

The vibrant town of Ede recently witnessed a spectacular celebration as its noble sons and daughters gathered to mark the annual Ajilalaoso Festival, coinciding with the joyous occasion of Eid 2025. The event was a resounding testament to the rich cultural heritage of Ede and its people, showcasing the town's deep-rooted traditions and values.

The Ajilalaoso Festival is more than just a cultural event; it is a celebration of unity, faith, and the enduring spirit of the Ede community. Highlight of the festival was the glamour and glitz brought in by Hon. Ghaffar Ayodeji Ajani an House of Assembly Hopeful under the umbrella of the All Progressives Congress (APC). His financial contribution, mobilization prowess and commitment to projecting the festival to national limelight underscores his commitment to the development of Ede land, unity and welfare of her people. 

Ghaff Unity's ability to project the rich cultural heritage of Ede into national consciousness and his ability to blend culture and politics across party lines distinguished him as an omoluabi who envision a more prosperous Ede.

In his short remark, he charged indigenes of Ede to stand as cultural ambassadors of the town urging them to be carriers of the town's rich culture, values and norms. 

"As I congratulate sons and daughters of Ede land on this year's Ajilalaoso Festival, I want to also urge everyone to be cultural ambassadors of our great town, we must carry the culture, values and norms of Ede with pride. Ede is our common heritage and patrimony hence we must protect her and foster unity amongst us. A prosperous Ede should be the priority for everyone and this can only be achievable through unity, peace and love"
