EID-EL-KABIR 2025: Barr. Atitebi Kazeem Abiodun Felicitates with Muslim Ummah, Calls for Unity, Sacrifice, and Compassion

As Muslims across Nigeria and the world mark the auspicious occasion of Eid-el-Kabir (Eid al-Adha), prominent philanthropist, legal luminary, and business magnate, Barrister Atitebi Kazeem Abiodun, has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim Ummah in Ode-Omu, Ayedaade Local Government Area of Osun State, and indeed across the entire nation.

In a heartfelt congratulatory message made available to journalists on Friday, Barr. Atitebi described the Eid festival as a sacred period that embodies the core values of faith, sacrifice, obedience to God, and compassion toward fellow human beings. He urged Muslims to reflect on the significance of Prophet Ibrahim’s unwavering devotion and submission to Allah, which the celebration commemorates.

“Eid-el-Kabir is not only a time of celebration but also a solemn reminder of the virtues of sacrifice, obedience, and the importance of placing communal welfare above personal interest. As we slaughter rams and offer prayers, let us also slaughter hatred, disunity, and selfishness in our hearts,” Barr. Atitebi stated.

He further called on Nigerians, regardless of religious or ethnic affiliations, to embrace the spirit of peace, love, and national unity, especially at a time when the country is navigating numerous socio-economic challenges. He emphasized that sustained development and prosperity can only be achieved through collective resolve, understanding, and mutual respect among all citizens.

Barrister Atitebi, known for his community development initiatives and philanthropic outreach, also extended his goodwill to the less privileged, urging well-meaning individuals and organizations to use the season as an opportunity to support those in need.

“This is a season of giving and sharing. I encourage us all to reach out to the poor, the elderly, and the vulnerable in our communities. Let us be the reason someone smiles this Sallah.”

He concluded by praying for peace, security, and progress in Osun State and across Nigeria, while wishing all Muslims a joyous and spiritually fulfilling Eid-el-Adha celebration.
