In a resounding show of support, the Osun Fulani Women has thrown its weight behind Senator Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru (SRJ) for the 2026 governorship election, citing his *unmatched competency* as the defining factor.

The women endorsement was made during a gathering of esteemed women from Local Government Areas (LGAs) across Osun State, where they collectively hailed SRJ's exceptional leadership qualities.

While speaking at the meeting, Lady Engr. Yusuf Alaba praised Senator Ajibola Basiru as the ideal candidate for the job, citing his impressive track record. She expressed strong support for him to receive the APC Governorship Ticket in 2026. 

Addressing the Fulani women present, she encouraged them to mobilize support by informing their husbands and others in their communities to back Senator Basiru upon reaching their respective destinations.

The Women Leader of the Osun Fulani Community, Mrs Hammed Fatimah, praised SRJ's vision, integrity, and dedication to public service, saying, *"SRJ's competency is second to none; we trust him to lead Osun State to greatness."*
