......OPEN LETTER TO THE NATIONAL SECURITY ADVISER OVER AISHA YESUFU VIDEO IN CIRCULATION
THE TIME TO IMMEDIATELY ARREST AISHA YESUFU AND PETER OBI IS NOW
My attention has been drawn to the deliberate disregard and defiant stance of the enfant terrible political dissident, Mrs. Aisha Yesufu, against the Nigerian State and the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. This follows the interception of a new video circulating across various media platforms, in which she openly declared that the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, is an “illegitimate president,” while asserting that Mr. Peter Obi is the “legitimate president of Nigeria.”
Her inflammatory remarks were made in response to my earlier calls for her arrest, alongside Mr. Peter Obi, over their alleged phantom plans to exploit the so-called “One Million March” rally to destabilise Nigeria, render it ungovernable, and violently overthrow through political insurrection the duly elected President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.
Dear National Security Adviser,
It is now abundantly clear and should be equally evident to the Inspector General of Police (IGP) and the Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS) that Aisha Yesufu and her cohort of political agitators and democracy subversives, including Mr. Peter Gregory Obi, Comrade Joe Ajaero, Senator Ireti Kingibe, Professor Theophilus Ndubuaku, and Senator Darlington Nwokocha, are demonstrably and irrevocably committed to their ungodly, aggressive, and destabilising campaign against the Government of Nigeria.
These individuals, all staunch supporters of the failed Labour Party presidential candidate in the last election, have persistently sought to undermine our constitutional order since the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR as the duly elected President of Nigeria a declaration subsequently affirmed by the Supreme Court of the land.
In her video statement, Mrs. Yesufu brazenly asserted that I have no business interfering with their planned “One Million March” rally in Abuja, on the grounds that President Tinubu is “illegitimate.” Such a statement is not only an affront to the National Assembly and the 1999 Constitution of Nigeria (as amended) but also a direct assault on the sovereignty of the Nigerian State. Her reckless pronouncements carry grave legal consequences, including the potential penalty of death for such offences.
Legal Violations & Call for Immediate Action
I wish to bring to your esteemed attention that Aisha Yesufu’s actions constitute a flagrant violation of Section 37 of the Criminal Code Act, which stipulates:
1) Any person who levies war against the State, in order to intimidate or overawe the President or the Governor of a State, is guilty of treason, and is liable to the punishment of death.
2) Any person conspiring with any person, either within or without Nigeria, to levy war against the State with intent to cause such levying of war as would be treason if committed by a citizen of Nigeria, is guilty of treason and is liable to the punishment of death.
Given this unambiguous legal framework, it is imperative that Mr. Peter Obi, Comrade Joe Ajaero, Senator Darlington Nwokocha, Professor Theophilus Ndubuaku, and Senator Ireti Kingibe be immediately arrested and charged with treasonable felony, particularly in light of Aisha Yesufu’s public admission that they do not recognise President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR as the legitimate President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Their actions and intentions reflect a dangerous conviction to persist in acts capable of inciting public unrest, breaching the peace, and denigrating the Nigerian Constitution. Their audacity, fury, and devilish resolve to delegitimise the government and orchestrate the violent overthrow of the President must not be treated with levity.
Final Demand & Warning
Should the relevant security agencies fail to act decisively on this matter, the Labour Party shall have no choice but to seek an Order of Mandamus from the Federal High Court, compelling the Office of the National Security Adviser to effect the immediate arrest of these individuals and Charge them for treasonable felony .
They have, by their conduct, established themselves as political terrorists, posing a clear and present danger to Nigeria’s national peace , stability and security.

Dr. Abayomi Arabambi
National Publicity Secretary
