It has been brought to our Notice that women in Mining affiliated with The Nigerian Council of Women Societies (NCWS)
Consequently, we have deemed it necessary to notify the general public and publish this Notice of disclaimer to clarify the affiliation and representation of Women in Mining. Women in Mining is an independent entity and does not fall under the umbrella of the Nigerian Council of Women Societies (NCWS).
However, Women in Mining has partnered with 97 other organizations to form a coalition known as the Association of Nigeria Women Business Network (ANWBN). This coalition brings together diverse organizations to promote women's economic empowerment and business development in Nigeria.
With a global presence spanning 99 countries, Women in Mining is a prominent organization advocating for women's participation in the mining sector. Our Osun State branch is one of the active foundation members of ANWBN, boasting over 9,000 members who are dedicated to our mission.
At Women in Mining Osun Branch, we emphasize our commitment to responsible mining practices through active participation in the Mining Sector. This is evident in our slogan: "Women in Mining! Doing the Mining Right."
We strive to promote sustainable and ethical mining practices while empowering women in the sector.
