Multichoice Nigeria, the organisers of the popular Big Brother Naija reality show, has announced a temporary disruption in the show’s broadcast due to a power issue.
In a statement posted on its official Instagram page on Friday evening, the company reassured fans that all housemates are safe while technical teams work diligently to restore transmission.
“We’re currently experiencing a temporary break in Big Brother Naija transmission due to a power issue. Rest assured, the housemates are safe and sound. Our technical team is working swiftly to restore power and normal service. Thank you for your patience,” the statement read.
Adding a touch of humour to ease concerns, the organisers encouraged viewers to “grab a snack” and “stretch your legs,” promising that the “premium entertainment” will be back shortly.
The current season, which kicked off on Saturday, July 26, marks the 10th edition of the BBNaija franchise. Housemates are competing for the ultimate grand prize of ₦150 million.
