A peaceful evening turned into a nightmare in the Ikota area of Lagos on Tuesday, September 3rd, 2025, when 26-year-old Deb’rah Porsche was brutally attacked and killed in her own apartment by her ex-boyfriend, Lintex Ogale.
According to eyewitnesses and security personnel at the estate, the tragic incident began when Ogale arrived at the gate disguised as a dispatch rider, claiming to have a package for the young woman. Security guards promptly informed Porsche about the delivery, but she responded that she wasn’t expecting any package and suspected a mistake.
Despite being turned away by the estate security, Ogale allegedly scaled the fence and forced his way into Porsche’s apartment. Once inside, he reportedly stabbed her multiple times in a frenzied attack.
Shocked neighbors, alerted by her screams, rushed to the scene and were able to detain the attacker until police arrived.
Lagos State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of the suspect and stated that investigations are ongoing.
The horrific killing has sparked widespread outrage and grief across social media, with many calling for stronger protections for women and harsher penalties for perpetrators of gender-based violence.
