APC Diaspora Committee of Chairmen Congratulates Dr. Bernard Muhammed Doro on Ministerial Nomination

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Committee of Diaspora Chairmen (CDC) has extended its warm congratulations to Dr. Bernard Muhammed Doro on his recent nomination as Minister by His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In a statement released to the press on Wednesday, the General Secretary of the APC CDC, Ambassador Adeayo Tella, praised the President for what he described as a “well-considered and highly deserving” nomination. Dr. Doro, who currently serves as the Financial Secretary of the APC UK Chapter, has long been recognized for his steadfast loyalty to the party, his professionalism, and his commitment to good governance and national development.

“Dr. Doro embodies the core values of the All Progressives Congress. He is a committed, dedicated, and transparent individual who has demonstrated unwavering loyalty to the party over the years,” said Amb. Tella. “His humility, integrity, and strong leadership qualities make him a round peg in a round hole. We commend President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for once again showing his dedication to inclusive governance by recognizing the contributions of party members in the diaspora.”

The APC CDC also noted that Dr. Doro's nomination signals a broader recognition of the critical role played by the Nigerian diaspora in national development and party affairs. As a longstanding diaspora leader, Dr. Doro has been instrumental in mobilizing support for the APC across the United Kingdom and beyond, while also contributing to strategic policy discussions on economic development and youth empowerment.

Amb. Tella emphasized that the entire Diaspora Committee stands solidly behind Dr. Doro and is confident that he will bring his extensive experience, international exposure, and proven leadership skills to bear in his new role.

“We are proud of Dr. Doro and we are confident that his presence in the Federal Executive Council will be of immense value to the Tinubu-led administration and to Nigeria as a whole.”

The APC Committee of Diaspora Chairmen once again extends its heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Bernard Muhammed Doro and pledges its continued support to his endeavors in public service.
